About Blossoming Minds Therapy

Care that sees the whole person, from a team that is cared for too.

Blossoming Minds Therapy is a long-term, trauma-focused psychotherapy clinic in Bella Vista (Norwest, Hills District) and North Sydney, NSW, founded in 2019 by Hitika Bhatia. Our team works with individuals, couples, children and families, alongside your GP and the other people who support you.

Why Hitika started the clinic

Hitika Bhatia began on a medical path, and stepped away from it because it so often treated symptoms rather than their roots. When she moved into therapy, she found much of the practice around her narrow, looking at people through a single lens.

She wanted a place where people are seen as a whole, not as a diagnosis.

In September 2019 she opened Blossoming Minds Therapy in Bella Vista, built around long-term work that goes as deep as it needs to. In 2026 we opened our second clinic in North Sydney.

Three commitments behind everything we do

Clinicians who are cared for

Our clinicians receive regular training, regular supervision and support to access their own therapy, with no pressure to meet targets. Deep work asks a lot of a person, and steady, well-supported practitioners are what it needs.

Honesty about fit

Every enquiry is carefully considered. If we are not the right service for what you are carrying, we will tell you plainly and help you find who is, through a network of practitioners we trust. With your consent, we also brief the other people supporting you, such as your GP or psychiatrist, so you never have to retell your story.

A bigger picture

Many people come to us after being let down by the systems meant to help them. We want to help them heal, and to help those systems recognise the true scale of issues such as abuse.
